Why the cat should suffer for all this is beyond me. shame on you

I now believe Murray will take the title, though this will have nothing to do with destiny (that's just silly).

Rather, I think he'll realise this is probably the best chance he'll ever get to win a major and elevate his game against a player he has beaten more often than not.

I'm still not sure about the whole pointing to the sky thing, but whatever helps him through it...

This will be Murrays fourth Grand Slam Final ... he's never beaten Federer in a Grand Slam event though.

There's a first time for everything though  Wink

When young my friends and I always had a laugh or two around Wimbledon time... saying things like there's as much chance of (whatever) as a Scotsman doing well at Wimbledon.

A Scotsman in the Wimbledon Final..... Wow !

Well done Andy, win or lose.     beauty, eh

Yup, my English buddies used to always mock me about Scottish football too, and look at it now!

I'm sure he will! I was on the M61 earlier this week and the back of a lorry I was overtaking had an enormous image of Steve Davis (complete with bow tie and cue) - he apparently endorses the particular doors and double glazed windows which were being transported puzzled

Current thinking for Andy is the new face of Spam.

Here's hoping he can do it (shame for all the cats in PP's neigbourhood!)  , just needs to maintain the energy and take his game up a notch to better Federer ,he's done it before but to-morrow will tell , still he's first Scot ever to make the final.

I think he walked off in a strop when he should have stayed on court. I didn't keep watching to see whether he came back for the presentation. Bit like balotelli after the final!  Wink

Indeed, and in many ways a far more exciting story even than if Murray wins the singles.  Reminded me more of when Boris Becker arrived and won on his first visit to these championships - brilliant!

Win or lose, that was an incredible first set by Murray. Never seen him play better than in those first three games, and the b*alls he showed to hold his serve at 3-4 was incredible, and he was nerveless serving out.

Not sure I can cope with the rest of the match, but I am  pray
