We have home wireless network of 3 pc's. 1 desk top and 2 lap tops. We have been with Virgin for years and yet all of a sudden, for the last few days everytime the wife log's onto the internet, the home page for BT open network pops up. I have done some basic checks and everything seems fine with her settings. Any one got any other ideas.
Thanks in advance.

Just change the homepage back to what you want.

Are you sure a neighbour doesn't have an unsecured BT network it's jumping onto?

Cancel your virgin account and enjoy some free browsing at your neighbour's expense. Wink

If your wife has vista, go into the network and sharing centre, click the view full map option (just to the right of the internet globe) and have a gander at the attached devices to see if they feature on your network. If there are devices you don't recognise, then she's probably hooked into a network other than your own.

You can do the same check on one of the computers attached to your network and see if you can see her computer as an attached device.

The view full map option is one of the better features to come out of vista (for networking).

As a first port of call, I would disconnect the pc from the network and do a full virus scan with your av software. And then do the same for all others computers. What level of security do you have on your network -WEP WSK etc.
