Come on What Hi Fi - this is embarrassing - having to put

in to get paragraph breaks. This is the only forum where it's necessary and it's so easy to implement...

I had that problem on this and other sites - moved to Firefox browser, which seemed to sort it out.

This has been a problem on here for ages, one second you successfully are able to select the Enhanced mode the POP you are back to plain text for no apparant reason. NOT CRICKET!

A reasonable response only if it only happens rarely, which doesn't seem to be the case!

Please fix it!

Pretty pretty please Smile

Apologies. We're acutely aware that the formatting is erratic and we're trying to get it fixed. It seems to switch itself off and on at random for no apparent reason, and please don't think it's just you - it keeps happening to me too, which is equally frustrating, and don't get our Managing Editor Jonny Evans started on the matter... !

All I can suggest is that if you lose it, go into My Details, go to My Settings and select Enhanced in the Content Editor drop-down menu. Also, try a different browser if you can.

It's one of my priorities to make sure that the formatting on the new website (due for launch later this year) works properly, so please bear with us while we sort out the gremlins.

Typically, as I attempt to respond to this, my formatting is working beautifully.

I'll let you know when it's not, though, Andy, don't you fret Devil

It is a strange one.

Re: Why no paragraph break in this forum?

as far as i know i have never had any formatting on here.

using both FF and IE 7.

If i go to settings, every time it says basic text and it never stays when i change it.

not working today either!
