Which is the best soup maker?
My mother-in-law has been recently diagnosed with cancer. She has a stent in her bowel which requires her to eat soups / puréed foods / mash only. We're planning to make some highly nutritious soups for her & want to invest in a good soup maker.
The requirements are:
1) Minimum hassle.
2) Should blend, heat & possibly fry as well.
3) Easy to clean.
So far, I've looked at these:

Any comments on these & any other suggestions?
We have the cuisinart one, does a very good job, although I don't use it as much as Clodagh.
I like the look of the Morphy Richards 48822 Soup Maker

This would be my choice you have the choice between chunky or smooth it also heats the soup wich is a bonus.
Thanks. It looks good, but I don't want the slow cooker. Is it sold without it?

That Cuisinart soup maker was sold for £78 on Amazon in October.

I'm afraid that like most things on a hifi forum, you're unlikely to get a view from someone who has tried more than one of the products you're interested in and instead at best will get people recommending the one they bought themselves
Just want to make it easier for my wife.

Sometimes you do get someone who has used a product & has either liked or disliked it. User feedback is very useful. How easy or difficult is it to clean the Cuisinart soup maker?
