2 those who seek (and receive) advice and clearly ignore it and 'go their own way'.
3 those who quote/quote/quote unable to find the 'reply' button.
4 those who can't be bothered to search the forum for answers before asking the exact same question.
5 those who make the forum 'personal' making the post a private argument.
6 those who divert a post away from the original 'question' making it their same old rant.
7 those who moan about others 'behaviour' on the forum.
None of those things bother me at all.
This just makes me laugh.
The only thing that I don't like about this forum is spending 15 minutes writing out a long post only to have the forum software lose it during composition.

I am a culprit of 1 & 2.
1 those who post a question; receive many replies and are never 'seen' again.
I use these forums to aid my decision making & solve problems I encounter in set-ups or otherwise.
I will post my issue, perhaps not return for a while allowing replies to accumlate. From these replies I fish out the solution to my issue & leave no notice of having read the page at all. None the less I do use the responses sumbitted to seek a solution, & will reply until the problem is solved.
Rest knowing I have read & most probably utilised the advice given up unto the point it has served my purpose.
Do not be upset if I'm not to be seen again, until atleast I have problem with something else.
I think that this is a good thing. Admittedly I don't like most of the obscure stuff either but you can also find the occasional gem by listening to all of the suggestions.
I only discovered 'Tycho' and 'The XX' buy listening to other peoples obscure music suggestions.
Too many HiFi threads! Not enough home cinema. I like it when the dealers argue too. People who sign up as a member more than once!

People who get banned and then let back in - keep them out permanently!

People who care about this sort of thing!
Totally agree with the first one, though.
1.when I write a reply press post and it disapears, saying "comments field needs to be filled in(something like that)I can't spell it took me 10 minutes to write a post the other day after checking it to avoid getting ridiculed.....again,and to have it disapear like that is a bit annoying and it's happening more and more often.
Notice (from point 1) an EDITED quote !! (Where is the emoticon for saintly?)
Above comment is because title is too long - shorted the title first and all works well. Agreed a tad annoying.

We know that DSOM is great, but with the world of Spotify etc at our fingertips, it's great to get a heads-up on a band or singer that isn't being plugged to death by the major record labels.

Ah nice one - cheers! Just with Clare and Dominic leaving and not much being said, and lots of old members being let back in I started to worry a tad. Looking forward to the next issue - cheers!
People who go on a hi-fi forum to discuss football, F1, or Strictly Come Dancing.
People who whine about forum sections that tehy can just, well, stay out of.
