I've got a problem for you. On my old amplifier, a Technics SUA-900, I had my speakers bi-wired as the amplifier was set up for bi-wiring. I've now bought a Brennan JB7 and am very pleased with the sound it produces! There is however no option for bi-wiring and I've lost the terminal links which convert my speakers for single-wire use. I've got over this by bareing the first 10cm of speaker cable and connecting it to both terminals, which works ok but is not a tidy option. So far I have contacted Sevenoaks Hi-Fi, but have received no response

Using speaker cable links is often an improvement in sound over the factory supplied links. I say stick with the speaker cable links and if you're worried about untidiness, spend your money on some screw-on banana plugs instead.

Thank-you for your reply! It's good to know I've done the right thing, accidently! I'll leave them as they are,
