What's with this site?

My iPad also has a nasty habit of deleting my posts too.  I find myself frequently shortening my posts just in case it happens again.  My posts on this website get deleted when I post a new thread too.

I asked a question on another post ealier and then found it had been answered 4 minutes before I posted but was not showing for ages.

Seems to be quite a bit of lag on here at the moment.

It's true, I'm actually two years younger than when I joined this forum.

Do you click on 'Disable Rich Text' on the iPad?  You have to unless you've upgraded to iOS6.

As for lag in displaying posts, there is only a delay on one page, which is the 'Latest Posts' page - for performance reasons this is only updated every two minutes (OTTOMH).  All the other pages are updated immediately if you're logged in.  If you're not logged in then you're subject to the site's cacheing regime, details of which I'm not party to any more.

Ios6 is installed,and the lag is when I type.I can type the whole word before it appears and it only happens on this site,not all the time 

today it is ok but when it happens I can go to another site and its ok but back to this one and it slows up again.

When its like this the post will disapear or like last night just a couple of letters came out.

Just did it again,typed in reply and when I pressed post it came up comment field required.

3 attempts in a row now,I keep getting the red bar at the top (comments field requierd) and text disapears  

Annoying. I'll have another go on my iPad later and see if I can replicate the problem.
