We at the whim of another earth cycle, like the planet has done for millions of years, incidentally before we as fairly pathetic carbon based lifeforms ever existed.
I am interested how all you guys, who, do or dont buy into our destruction of the planet by us, feel about the contribution of volcanic activety(which has occurred for the life of the planet) weighs up against our pollution contribution?

That is true, in as much as we're still emerging from the last Ice Age, however the current warming rate is much faster than anything we interpret has happened before from the available records.
Volcanic activity can actually cool the planet, large amounts of ash and dust in the atmosphere have caused large temperature drops on a number of occasions. That would be the main issue if the Yellowstone super-volcano goes off (aside from most of the USA not existing any more obviously...).
No signature worth mentioning...
Well I dunno, Analogue Productions are based in the US, their vinyl remasters are to DIE FOR!!!
OK, that aside, it is still mainly a win win. From a selfish perspective, I sill have not toured around the black hills of Dakota and I would like to take in the vancouver area from a holiday/touring perspective.
Understand the effects of large scale eruptions, of which we have discussed there, I am talking about the constant volcanic outpourings of the simmering type, pre major eruptive events
