What's on the Shopping List for 2010?
Any exciting purchase plans for the new year? Maybe a new TV, BDP, Receiver, Speakers, Computer or maybe something a little bit more adventurous like a 3D TV or Tablet PC (Apple or otherwise) etc.
I'm looking to buy a new laptop, possibly one of the new macbook pros, or a Sony Vaio and maybe add some sort of surround sound (receiver and speakers) for films and music. The latter has been put on hold while new neighbour settles in - I need to determine what sort of noise level they're willing to accept (no complaints yet, but then I'm only using Tv's speakers).
I think once those are bought, I will be able to enjoy music and films much more, and won't need to buy anything else for a while.
What are your plans, if any, for the new year? Or are you completely happy with your setup?

Then I will need a new headphone rack.
A row of these on a shelf would look quite nice. Maybe slightly freaky but....
Oh, dont like the heads at all! I am looking for a rail of some sort that I can hang the headphones on..

Well we've already splurged slightly on a new camera. A Fuji Finepix S200EXR and a Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom tripod.
On the Hi-Fi front, I will definitely be replacing my 602s sometime this year (it's hard to believe I've had them 8 years come summer). My first thoughts are to try out some M.A GS10s and matching stands. May keep my existing Partingtons and look at some Proac Tablette 8 sigs. Although the Roksan Kandy speakers look intrigueing.
Also thinking of a new (better) Blu-ray for the lounge and moving my current one to the bedroom.
I'd really like a projector and a screen. Currently trying to work out whether (given I dont spend that much time watching films) its worth it to go full HD for about a grand, or 720p for less.
Ooh, I also want to upgrade my speakers.
I hate to say it - but Ive also been missing my old Arcams that I sold. Oh dear.

Ah, yes, the famous Brabantia Swivel Towel Arms, made from brilliant steel. Unfortunately they're out of stock at JL.
