Probably about 10 years (for the TV at least) ago I spent quite a bit of dough on kit:

Sony 28" Trinitron

Sony STRDB930 Receiver/Amp

Sony DVP S725P DVD Player

With the march of technology I'm guessing all of this is now obsolete and therefore worthless or do you reckon I would get anything for any of it? If it is pretty much worthless, does anybody recycle this kind of stuff?

Hopefully what I'm about to blow on new kit will last at least as long!

Ebay, me ol' mucker. If you are considering recycling, then list each item with a starting price of 99p, and make sure you put it as local pickup only, so you don't have to muck about with packing it and taking it to the post office.

I've yet to see a working item of electronics not go if it has a 99p start... As long as you include a picture and tell them that it's working (I take it that it is all working!) it'll go...
