does chasing pavements mean? Love the song just not got a clue what she is on about.
It's like chasing cars, but with less running.

Sorry - Adele is of course extremely talented. But after a tough day, my inner bit-ch has escaped and is running amok. Duck and cover!
(hides hob nobs........)
According to that ever trustworthy source of YAHOO ANSWERS, "it means when you love someone and chase after them but then they disapear so you are left 'chasing the pavement'"
Ahh, the old disappearing magician love story, yes. Probably turned into a shop.
Probably a red route now

I think catty remarks heading Adele's way are well deserved. As with many other one-hit megastars (in her head anyway) she seems to like herself more than is strictly necessary.
I read an interview with her a while back where she said something along the lines of "I can pull any man I want, and often do".
Sadly, men outwith her weight watchers meetings may be harder to "pull".
If she was at the wrong end of a street when it was Greggs oppening time im sure we would see her run.
Hobble quickly anyway.
Not sure whether to cringe or laugh.... ; )
