what is the word i'm looking for?
Hi folks,
been listening to a selection of music this afternoon.iv'e got a depth of music(bass)that i'm happy with,but there is something lacking....i cant realy explain it....its like the sound needs lifting...maybe brighter....alot more treble(but not if you know what i mean)is it more gain?
sorry for the vagueness.hopefully someone can give me the correct term.

i can get this by turning up the volume,but then the bass is wayyyy to overpowering.

I think you are looking for presence, a lift in the upper-mid. It makes things seem more, well, present, alive, interesting, involving.
