What annoys you?
Twitter? You mean the internet right? Either way, this "the presumption to assume that their opinion is actually valid, wise or amusing" is the only reason any forum exists, everybody who posts to a forum like this falls into this category.
Ugh, don't get me started, I HATE carveries!
Nicely done. A genuine laugh out loud moment - thanks.
People in black Range Rovers (I think these should take the Top Gear crown of the cockster)
Tesco's
B&Q
Celebrities
People who think they are celebrities
London
Shopping for cards on any occasion
Benefit scroungers
That fake London Jamaican accent that youths use (cretins)
Queuing
People who are late
Jobsworths
Small talk
Idiots who are oblivious to the world cos they have their mobile stuck on their face.
People who park right next to me, even though they'll need a tin opener to get in and out, when there are hundreds of other spaces
Aggressive lane changers on the motorways (so often Audi and Passat drivers)
Middle lane morons
Drivers who don't use their indicators
Drivers who give you a dirty look for making them wait at the obstruction on their side of the road (cf Audi and Passat)
Pensioners who flock into M&S on a Saturday when they have all week (and there's usually only a packet of Werther's in the basket)
Werther's
BBC News Channel (How can the same news be 'breaking' after three hours?)
Sky (the TV company, not the thing the other side of the clouds and rain)
Classic FM (I can keep my attention during a whole symphony, you know)
John Humphrys (the award for interrupting goes to...)
Having to paint the lounge...

No, I most certainly do not mean "the internet".
"...The only reason any forum exists..." - I'm pretty sure that when conceived, whathifi.com's raison d'être was advice and information-sharing, not a platform for unsolicited potification and / or opinions?

*sigh* Ok, that's why WHF *started* the forum, however if no-one used it, it wouldn't still be here, the only reason people use it or any other forum is to pontificate or offer opinions that they think are "valid, wise or amusing". Everybody thinks they know best, that's why the internet is the success story that it is, it doesn't make sense to single out Twitter or any other single medium on the internet for that criticism, it's everywhere you look.
Shouldn't that be one of your favourite things?
I must confess, there are some very annoyed people on here! - personally, I don't really find anything particularly annoying, I simply can't be bothered (which some people might find annoying)
You don't von Trapp me that easily...

I really, really think you should not apply your psyche to everyone on forums. OR Speak for yourself.

You would though, wouldn't you though?
I love the smell of misogyny in the morning.

Hehe, the only difference between me and everyone else is I'll admit to these things, instead of trying to pretend to myself that I'm doing it out of the goodness of my heart. That's not to say people don't get helped by places like this of course but it's never for entirely altruistic reasons.
I was, I merely questioning the logic of singling Twitter out for that sort of criticism, doesn't seem to make much sense to me.
How is life back in the 1970s?

Well *that's* the weirdest ad hominem I've seen in a while...
