Theres not much talk about dance music on these forums, but I see mentions of decks every now and then, so there must be a few of you out there! What are your top five favourite dance/electronic music albums?

I'm not very clued up on dance/electronic music, though I do like some. Do Seefeel count? Here's a list without anyway, particularly like the first four.
F.U.S.E - Dimension Intrusion
RED SNAPPER - Prince Blimey
LAMB - Lamb
BOARDS OF CANADA - Music Has The Right To Children
SABRES OF PARADISE - Sabresonic II
Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express
Brian Eno - Apollo
David Bowie - Low
Goldfrapp - Felt Mountain
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
As an old skool raver, I don't think there are any albums or compilations that include genuine track mixes (i.e. versions played in clubs) from the very early '90s; and I've looked really hard. It's mostly chart mixes, while few CDs contain tracks one would consider genuinely reflective of the scene pre-Prodigy. I have flight cases full of very early '90s dance tracks on vinyl, but these are typically 12" releases rather than albums.
This is from a slightly later period, though I consider it the pinnacle of progressive drum and bass:

Even if you're not into this kind of music, the album may surprise you. I still play the CD to this day and used it as a tester for my new CDP.
Global Underground 004 - Paul Oakenfold
Global Underground 008 - Nick Warren
Kraftwerk - The Mix
Leftfield - Rhythm and Stealth and Stealth Remixes.

All that old stuff was the best but you are right when you say you just can't get it on CD. Loads of old vinyl on Discogs though.
