Andy Clough:your day off?!
Sorry, don't think I understand that term - could you clarify?
(And anyway, zooming around in a range of fuel cell, electric and uncrashable cars hardly counts as work, does it?)
Just watched the video. Fascinating stuff! Mr Fowler is asking what you thought of the Nissan Leaf.

Japanese time of course!
BST +8, and I really enjoyed the EV11, which is essentially next year's Nissan Leaf leccy car. Lovely shove when you put your foot down - just the thing for traffic-nipping - as there are no gears, and feels smooth and sorted through corners.
If I drove in town all the time with only occasional longer-haul stuff - it's good for 100+km on a charge - I think I'd have one if the price were right.
And I love the iPhone-based web-enabled tech allowing you to set a charging timer, find charging stations in range of where you are in an emergency, and even fire up the air-conditioning remotely in the morning while it's still plugged in, thus saving battery power once you get going.
...it was all well worth the seemingly endless bus journey to and from the Nissan facility, and thanks the the CEATEC people for organising it

Hang on, Mr E, isn't this meant to be your day off?! Or are you moonlighting for WhatCar?
