The photo thread
Had a proper play with the new lens today (50mm 1.8 OSS) on home turf, and have been thoroughly impressed. The NEX setup was surprisingly quick, sharp, and as always with Sonys the Dynamic Range was ace. Not quite ready to sell off al the Canon kit, but it has crossed my mind.
Went to Brandon Hill in Bristol today, one of my favourite places in the city. Hollie and I are mildly obsessed with feeding the squirrels there and planning on having our wedding photos taken there later this year. I refer to it as 'home turf' however as its where I go to test new kit, and build trust with it. I have used every body there, as well as most of the good glass I have owned and I have to say, I cant see the point of carrying around the weight anymore for fun shoots. The fold out screen made the shoot far more enjoyable (and my cloths stayed mud less as I didn't have to lie on my tummy). Love it.
Click the pic for a bigger images, the tiny ones look awful for some reason

Haven't used my camera in months....these are as good as its ever got, amongst the hundreds of dross!

I like the middle one, and I really really like the last one!
No great shakes as a pic, but I was sitting here trawling the threads, nice evening so had the doors to the garden open. Heard something scurrying on the deck. Quickly grabbed the camera and found this guy at the bottom of the garden.

Surprised it's actually centred-ish in the shot as it's pretty dark outside... Could've been a rat for all I knew!

Should've put on a Def Leppard track. Hedgehog playing air guitar would be some picture.
