Who's seen it, and what did you make of it? This film had me scouring the internet to see how much of it was actually true. Admittedly it isn't the greatest 'film' of all of all time but I found it very interesting and quite thought provoking. I would usually laugh this sort of film off but the scenes of actual footage used of people under hypnosis were quite disturbing, they were all genuinely terrified.

Well the £4 Blockbuster rental fee hardly crippled me financially. Look at me splashing the cash aroundConfused

I liked it. I think the video footage in the film was reconstructed, rather than the original tapes, but I may be wrong. If they were the real tapes used, then that's creepy as hell.

I never rent blu-rays. If you buy them from the right place you can get a new release for 12 to 14 pounds, so if I rent and like it I think I've wasted 4 pounds when I buy it, on the other hand waste 14 pounds when I don't like it, but I have a lot more films I like than dislike. So makes sense to me.
Any way you did not say that you had rented it, and its only my thoughts witch you asked for...

Here's a very interesting article on the film for anybody that has seen it. If you haven't watched the film, and intend to do so, then reading the linked article will probably spoil it for you.

Re: 'The Fourth Kind'

I quite enjoyed the film but i have to say ofcourse it must be fake. Video footage of people floating out of bed!! Im sure it would be either on the news or atleast made into a documentary or kept top secret. Not made into a hollywood film! lol.

I had a look on the net also and theres so many pages that just say it was aload of rubbish and fake and that also the film makers were sued over it.

Now im quite open minded, i do think theres a major major chance of intelligent life out there.... but not to be used in a hollywood movie. Excuse me FBI but could we possibly use some real life alien abdustion footage to put in to a hollywood film and let the whole world see it?.. Why ofcourse you can mr film maker.

Give me a break.

Re: 'The Fourth Kind'

The UFO stuff was all the dream child of the U.S Military back in the late 40's - come 50's to help cover up new flight technology ... there are no wee nor big aliens out there flying around or abducting anyone.

Makes for some good movies mind ...like  Independence Day and a few others. In general we humans like anything at times to get away from the hum-drum of life.

If you do see any though .. let us know  Smile

The 'hot spot' in the World for sightings is this wee village in Scotland called Bonnybridge  ... that in itself tells me all I want to know

hahahahaha... The whole of the world ... yet it is Bonnybridge these would be Aliens in their ships keep visiting. Maybe there is a good 'chippy' there    Smile

More usually baroness these days, at least when they have been given the honour in their own right.
