Good news for those of us brought up on The Goon Show, BBC Schools signature tunes and William Hartnell as Dr Whothe BBC Radiophonic Workshop is being reopened

I remember listening to the story of the Radiophonic workshop on 4 Extra a couple of months ago. (That was a weird morning!)

That's great news! I saw a TV documentary on them a few years ago (2009?) - I think around the time they did the live reunion at the Roundhouse - it was fascinating, especially seeing the stuff they used. I think it followed on from them finding loads of original (thought lost) tapes.

Having seen who the creative director is, I think they going to be way out there...
