Re: Th avatar conundrum!

I think changing avatars is not a good idea as it so much easier to remember the posters by the avatar than by the username!

I wanted my avatar to be with a black suit & black glasses (which would suit 'bigboss'). Who better than Mr. Smith?

The guys from Men in Black? You can even get one with teh same name.... They are not baddies though...

You can have it for, like, five minutes and then it's going off again...

Where has my avatar disappeared? A temporary glitch, maybe?

I was actually looking for a picture from Men in Black, but I though this was better (when it comes back, that is).

Some Roger Dean artwork to express my main favourite musical genre.

Re: Th avatar conundrum!

I have noticed them and read them, But I have not been the one who has raised the issue. I don't think it is fair to jump onto someone elses thread to get something done for myself. I am sure Andrew and such have more important things to do with their time than put a picture up on the site for me. In the great scheme of things it's no real issue, just would be nice to acheive it on my own. If that makes sense? It does in my world anyway.

Well it makes sense yes, but the plain fact is it doesn't work, so emailing it to Andrew is the ONLY way to get it done, doesn't matter if you raised the issue, it doesn't work for anyone, so all of us who have avatars have gone through the same process.

I've just got in from a 14hr shift at the office and was wondering what the avatar we use (or not) says about one's self?

Shooter69,

After a gruelling 14 hour shift at work, I would think that getting straight to bed would have been your No1 priority!

I haven't seen Avatar yet so I can't comment.

JoelSim,

Yours is of you and your kid, btw! And you really should watch the other Avatar.

That's not true the_lhc. I've only ever changed my avatar by using the profile settings and I've done it a few times over the last three or so years, including a couple of days ago.

You're lucky igglebert, many complain about not being able to post avatars. I wish matthewpiano would get one!

Many? I'd have said everyone, up until now, I'd be fascinated to know how Igglebert manages it, it doesn't seem to be browser specific.
