I think Europe have a very good chance this year, Molinari bros and Westwood are on the top of their game.  Can't wait, only 2 days (ish) to go.

I would be surprised if we didn't win this year - we have a great team.

I'm heading down to Swansea on Fri, staying at a friends, have Saturday tickets. I'm hoping for a great day out. I'm also hoping the shouting of "In the hole"  is kept to a minimum.

"Be THE ball", is surely worse!

I think shouting AFTER the ball has fly off club's blade only add fun to the game and I would have thought players do like all the cheering.  Better still, golf should have a song (like in football) somthing like (in Robin Hood's song style)

I thought Westwood had barely played since his calf injury caused him to pull out a month or so ago?

Apparently Paddy has played very well in practice though, which is promising, I was pretty worried about that pick, given his recent form.

The best round of golf I ever seen on Telly was when Westwood won at Dubai last year, if he can capture that form then no one can stop him.  I hope Paddy can play as good as he was doing 2 - 3 years ago, his putting has been a bit off of late, imo, Casey should take his place.

The millions of hangers on are going to clog the whole of SE Wales for the next few days, and I have to commute almost right through the approaches around Newport. Stay at home please people.

I'm impressed, that took a good 36 hours...

I can't wait. Got the day off work tomorrow, just upgraded to Sky Sports HD...a whole weekend watching the best sporting event on the planet ahead (IMO). Excellent.

Gutted I couldn't afford tickets though. The Open is enough for one year.

 But I wouldn't be at all surprised if the USA win. They also have an excellent team. It should be really close.
