Reccommend Me Some Albums?

Anyway, I've been asked for music by someone for xmas but it's rather a non-specific request. They like The Levellers, Squeeze...No idea about more recent stuff, more on which may or may not be forthcoming. I could just look at reccommendations on sites like Amazon but I did that and decided this would be better.
So, what do you think? If it's recent that's great, but not essential.

Have You heard "Static in the Airways". I like some of the songs in this one while others are average. They can try it.
For things like this I go to AllMusic and look up say Levellers and it will come up with similar artists and albums and it has reviews on most of them and hear samples, I don't always agree with their choices but anyway it is guide. Also Amazon you can see similar.

How much did you pay? 
I paid something for each album. And there was one that came with a boxed set that had a set price, and I went a bit mad and got that too, though the physical part (you could download it for that price too) has not arrived.
I had actually finished shopping and wasn't feeling too flush so may make a donation at some point.
Their material is available in MP3 320, FLAC, MP3 VBR (V0), AAC, Ogg Vorbis or ALAC.
If they like The Levellers, they may like The Wonder Stuff's "Never Loved Elvis", or maybe Bellowhead.
