Rangers Voted into Division 3

Lets start with full independance for Scotland!

Don't forget that the majority of us Scots are proud to be British as well as being Scottish. It's a minority that want independance.
Indeed. The day that Scotland votes for independence, I will take English citizenship the next.
Subject to qualification ,of course.
. There might be a new test by then.
Have to say, I'm not entirely convinced by the negative financial predictions. Obviously, there will be a loss in absolute revenues, mostly from lower gate receipts. But weren't all rangers' financial problems caused by trying to compete with Celtic? And spending money they didn't have to do so? And wasn't the temptation that teams in places 3 and below spend money they didn't have to try and catch the Old Firm, like Hearts did?
It's silly IMO to say this is the end of Scottish football - the fans will still go, the clubs will still exist. Now Celtic can spend less to win the league, and the others can spend less chasing and still finish second. Hopefully the league can settle down on an even keel with realistic budgets rather than chasing the rainbow.
Any vindictiveness from rangers fans against (all!) the other clubs seems rather poor form, the old club went bust, don't see any reason why the rest should vote for a new club to start unrealistically high?

I don't think you understand just how far reaching this is going to be for the other clubs - Rangers fans visited all away grounds twice each season just in the league - many of those were within 100 miles so grounds were full. This will not be happening now along with Sky pulling out.

No thanks
Not sure what I think about this. I do feel sorry for the Rangers supporters and McCoist (always thought he was a cracking player), just hope they manage to sort it out soon.
One assumes the team invited to take up the vacant place in the Scottish Premiership may meet with Mr Duncan's approval.
As Frankie Boyle put it, some small outlying Scottish towns are about to get a crash course in Irish history.

Forfar Athletic are in the SPL?!?!?!?
I only said 'may'...
And anyway, I thought Forfar was no more than an urban myth put about by East Fife supporters
It's not the same without Len Martin reading it for the 'classifieds' from a clacking teleprinter.
I didn't realise it was Forfar Athletic, I thought [from the days of clacking teleprinters] that it was Forfar Nil.
Coat please!
How very dare you.
Have to say though, looks like a cracking fixture:

Sadly, never managed the mythical Forfar 4/East Fife 5 scoreline - only the other way round...
