Polo shirts - which is your favourite?
I have been looking around for some good quality Polo shirts. I have been disappointed by a few in the past. Uniqlo & Savile Row company's polo shirts have been good. I like Lacoste a lot, but am waiting for my next trip to the US for them.
Which brands do you prefer?
I like Fred Perry myself one i had lasted ages.... like the look of original pengiun but would pretty much do anything to get a Harvey Mushman.... mmm Hackett look tempting to.. dam you BB.
Ralph Lauren.
I have about 10 Polo Tops and 10 rugby tops and have never had any quality issues.
Jacamo. Big and long.
H&M , George or M&S
But I do like Fat Face stuff.
A few years ago I bought a number of Timberland Polos from US outlets and they still look tip top. You would be mad to pay the full price for them though.
Another vote for Fat Face.
My favourite though is Crew. The cut and length is really good on me. Living in Swindon, we're blessed (?!?) with an outlet centre. I can get 2 crew polo shirts for less than the cost of one on the high street, merely because it's last years colour.
I have a couple of Ralph Lauren ones that are 15 years old too! Colour is faded somewhat but the shape is still there and they're not worn out at all.
Hugo Boss and Armani Jeans for me. Just bought 3 Armani Jeans polo shirts from our local Moda shop for £90(buy 2 get 1 free)
Marks and Sparks for me, why pay for a label?
Well that's helpfully narrowed the choice down....
has bigboss been hacked by Maxflynn?

Good to have a list of recommended brands when you go shopping next time.
For me its Ralph Lauren - the quality of them is really good. Although you do PAY for the quality. Also Superdry seem pretty decent (albeit theyve got some rather stripey in your face lines).
Hilfiger and Gant. Last ages....
Its Nautica for me...

Im a lyle & scott fan myself, they fit really well and i have one that i have worn to the gym for a few years and it still washes up like new.
The last two lacoste that i have had have badly shrunk over time so are now unwearable ( think i might fleabay them ! )
Then there are the ever reliable Fred Perrys, that always look good with a nice pair of jeans.
I feel a shopping trip coming .....
