Paragraphs??
I keep writing in paragraphs but it comes out in a big blog, what am I doing wrong?Using firefox.
Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't...weird,it just makes it more difficult to read as a big blog.
Hi Silly
My details - My setting - content editor - Enchanced.
The html mini-editor is javascript driven and a bit hit & miss - I'm using Safari and (due to Safari's dodgy ASP/JS support no doubt) I don't get the rich editor at all.
What you can do is very straightfroward - just use plain vanilla html and whack this in front of each new line you want as a paragraph
<p>
I set my settings to enhanced and one day it is ok the next it is back to plain text without me changing it and it wont let me change it back! Maybe a little bug in the workings of the WHAT HIFI website???
Don't think so - seems to work fine for most. Most of the problems seem to be to do with the way some browsers cache pages for fast loading.
Me too. Very hamstrung by it!
There we go again with that old chestnut of its your fault and not ours! I believe you Andrew.
Hardly an old chestnut, but it's not a problem I can replicate - believe you me if I could and there was a quick fix I'd do it in an instant.
Meanwhile it's a bit of a kludge but you could try putting in <p> tags before each new paragraph.
oooooooooh
Let's see if it's worked!
Yup.
That works! Nice one Mr. E!
well that solves that one then, sort of anyhow
Anyway at last I managed to post a picture of my system at last whooooppppppie for me I hear you a cry!

Didnt I say that bout' 6 posts back?
The problem with the editor is partly a browser cache issue and partly a browser support issue. Some browsers - namely Safari on mac, dont play well with some javascript and really dont like .asp which is the server language the site's built in. Browser eccentricities are the bane of my life so I sympathise with the web guys.
If you really want the editor, try using the latest version of Firefox, you may have better results.

Really not sure, I'm afraid. Also using the 'Fox here, and it works fine
