Olympic Boredom !
Fed up to the back teeth with the saturation coverage already.
See the police are having fun rugby tackling young boys on bikes. 
But the Olympic Torch relay is just so enthralling.
I liked Monty Pythons' take though - "it's enough to make you chew your own foot off...."
The British Olympics is a smashing concept... put on at great expence... embrace it !

I'm on bbc sport every day, but with the euros, Wimbledon and the one day cricket, I can't say I've noticed this saturation of which you speak. It's happening whether you like it or not, so may as well make the most of it 
I'm more interested in the Olympics than the tennis, if Murray wins I want to emigrate, and so will he I think.

I live in London, not far from several venues, the whole thing is a pain in the a***. I wish Paris had won the bid instead of

I'm with Paul. Up until 4 years ago I lived in a flat overlooking Woolwich Common, you would almost be able to see where the shooting events are being held from my balcony.
So glad I moved out of London. It was bad enough when Charlton were playing at home and that was just for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. Christ knows how chaotic it's gonna be during the Olympics.
Pity the M4 has reopened, had it stayed closed it might have encouraged some of the self important corrupt officials to head back to Heathrow!

Just out of curiosity who are some of these people?
We will be using the Humax a lot to concentate non-Olympic viewing - from what's left of the schedules (i've already started *) - and playing a lot of DVDs and Blu-rays and more radio.
*Been recording a series called 'Line of duty' and saving it - along with many others - to watch during the games.
So....you lot not looking forward to the up-coming games then

I have heard tell that some members of the International Olympic Committee are or have been considered to be corrupt. Seemingly a bit like FIFA officials.

Line of Duty is very good and I wish I had recorded it to watch without the weekly wait for the next episode.

Other people seem to like them and it's only once every four years. I just don't, personally, enjoy them. Hopefully they will all be on Sky next time.
