Norwich City
The down side is next year you will be saying my team win again this week when us, the canaries will be celebrating every draw that we might earn! Still....I am so happy
bring on Man Utd, Chelski etc...ect Let we having you, cmon.
Ole Ole Ole Ole Going Up Up Up. Great performance again last night, we were just rock solid, nothing was going to stop us from winning that. I thought we would win that match after Cardiff losing but did not like to say really, but i really thougt we would win last night.
What's that about £100 million in the bank now lol, that should clear some debts, Delia will give every penny she can too Lambert. Can't wait too see what players we bring in. With no money going on a new stand this time, i think we should stand a very good chance of staying up. I sense i am going to be very happy for all of the summer - yeeeeessssss.
Thanks Clare, i'm sure you will get there soon. Smile.

Congratulations to Norwich - and this is coming from a Cardiff fan. Thoroughly deserved (though i think you rode your luck a little with the amount of injury time goals you scored through the season.
All the best to you in the Premier League next season.

Cheers mate, if QPR are guilty then hopefully you might get automatic promotion too. If not then i think you will win the play-offs, with Belllamy you are definitely the best team there. Yesterday all the pressure was on you, you had to win, if we had to win like that then i am sure it would have been alot harder for us too. With two games too go, being in pole position counts for alot, if we were a point behind you - i think we would have struggled as well, i think you will re-group now though.
I hope you do go on now and get promoted too, i will definitely be cheering for you with Bellamy in your team and you have been close so many times now as well - so i hope you do get up as well.
Thanks Steve, those are very kind words
Got texted a quote from radio Norfolk yesterday: 'There's Russel Martin wearing only underpants and a smile . . . . Now he's kissing Delia'
As for finances, the sun reckons it's £40m next yr then even if we're relegated it's a minimum £48m parachute payments. Our debts are apparently about £20m. So we should be much more secure but also able to spend a bit on players.
Seeing who lambert gets will be interesting, he seems to have an eye for little known but effective players. Where do people think we need to strengthen? I'd say centre back is a priority, then another striker alongside holt and a creative player in midfield, as I think wes may be a little lightweight.

Well done to everyone at Norwich City Football Club!
It has to be said as a Leeds utd fan (grits teeth) well done to Norwich.

I have been thinking about where we might strengthen as well, this is what i come up with:
Another goalkeeper - would love to see us buy Fraser Forster, then have Ruddy as number two.
Left back - Drury's days i think are numbered now, so a really good left back to go with Tierney.
Right Back - Martin - more than good enough, probably need some cover there though.
Centre Back - Yep, i agree an expensive signing there.
Midfield - Would like to see us sign Lansbury on a permanent deal, plus 2 or 3 more midfielders perhaps.
Forward - I hear we have been linked with Morison of Millwall 6 ft 2 big striker, scored 17 goals this season, would make a good back up to Holt. Then a really quick, goal-scoring machine to play along side Holt would be nice, with Jackson coming on to finish teams off.
Subs, possibly see us signing Dani on loan again next season, if Liverpool will let him go again.
So in all possibly as many as 8 signings with quite a few going out as well, definitely see us smashing our transfer record for a signing, possibly two or even three times.
gel, I see you've taken Dani Pacheco on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season, which is bad for us, but very good for you.
You'll be able to see what I've been raving about for the last 6 months, he's class, and he'll defintely help to get you promoted.
Hey mate, we will be playing you next season now. It's possilbe we might want Dani on loan again, not sure if you would want him to go out again though. Liverpool back in the top five now i see as well - back where i'm sure you belong. Smile Your owners need to hurry up and give Dalglish a long-term contract, he has done a great job, not sure why the hold up.
Certainly looking forward too playing the likes of Liverpool again though.

Thanks for the info on Morrison Gel, I'm a bit out of the NCFC rumour loop, so it's interesting to hear
Have similar thoughts to you on the areas to strengthen (quick iphone post before
)
Full backs- agree Martin should be good enough, not really seen enough of Tierney to be sure. Cover needed for both, tho if we're investing so much elsewhere, Drury may have to do at LB.
Centre back - not sure anyone we have is good enough - we let quite a lot in even in the Championship. Whitbread seems too slow to me, Ward may be cover, but I think we need 2 new players here.
Midfield - I think Surman, Fox and Crofts give us quite a lot of steel and consistency here. But a Premier League experienced player would help. Will Lambert want to sign Lansbury again? It's surprised me he's only been on the bench most of the time, but he usually has his reasons. Agree 2 or 3 needed.
Forwards - I think Chris Martin's probably reached his limit (sadly), I also don't think Jackson will make it in the premier league (despite excellent reason form). I have my hopes for Holt, but agree we need a smaller, quicker player, plus some backup for Holt. Same point for Dani as Lansbury really - will he want to sign him again when he hasn't been first choice? Or has this just been settling in time?
Record transfer fee is £3.5 for Earnshaw? I can't see us spending more than about £15m total, so maybe one record, but I think the rest might have to be spread around.
What great things to be speculating about

So thirty bob left for a fish supper for the whole team?
So thirty bob left for a fish supper for the whole team?
The modern footballer eschews such a greasy repast, and would prefer a bowl of pasta. Well, possibly not Grant Holt....
