What more can you say, they have brought the whole house crashing down on themselves. I think this will run and run as more revelations surface.

Agreed only the start.  Still no real loss in content.  Shame about all the job losses though.  Murdoch is the one who should be ultimately responsible.

You mean Sun on Sunday, or Sunday Sun, or whatever its going to be called.  They are just sacrificing the staff so the advertisers can save face.

I'll stick with the Telegraph as I've no interest in who's bonking who.

I'm a bit suspicious of this. Just wondering if its a cynical move by the Murdochs to take the heat off them. They probably don't want to rock the boat while trying to buy Sky.  And they'll probably bring out a 'Sunday Sun' anyway as a replacement.

According to Sky News the internet domain name thesunonsunday.co.uk was registered on July 5 to a company called Media Spring.

Coincidence eh? Hmmm

Two Great British 'institutions' started in the reign of Queen Victoria. One was founded to remove the pollution and stench from public life and the other dedicated itself to putting it back.

Yes, enough about 'Dennis the Menace' and 'Giles', what about NOTW...

I am beginning to wonder if there is anyone left untainted by the Murdoch empire's tentacles - with enough legal and political clout - who is qualified to hold an independent inquiry.

There have been allegations made (by backbencher Tom Watson under MP privilege in the House of Commons) that an NI employee had requested HCL to destroy certain data. They refused. (HCL in Chennai, India store NI data apparently.)
