Need help thinking of a rock group.

Since yesterday I've been trying to think of a rock band that had moderate success in the mid-late 80s. All I can remember is there was three of them, either American or canadian and the lead singer sounded like Mick Jagger. One single I had I seem to remember they dressed like modern soldiers...
It's driving me mad!!

If you haven't figured it out already, are you thinking of Broken English?
I remember a song called "Coming on Strong" that was around when I was a nipper.
What a star! Yes that was the single I once had. You really have saved my sanity... been beating myself up most of the day...
