Why can't you see Metallica anymore - or do you mean the original line up?
Thin Lizzy because Phil asked my Mum out (she was with my Dad so said no!) and Dad taught him to play guitar.

He also lived not far from here (norfolk) when he was young!
I wish I seen him play live, or even see him would have been great.
I saw Whitesnake in 88 (87 line up) and they were the dream team....gone down hill since then ![]()

Disagree - saw them 3 years ago and thought they were fantastic!
Never saw Soundgarden.
Would have loved to have seen Queen back in the early '70s, but as I wasn't born until '74, It would have been nigh on impossible.
You just brought back a shudder of nostalgic recollection of the 1975 Christmas Eve Queen gig at Hammersmith Odeon - it was an amazing experience.
Led Zep. 1: Originally, before my time...and now 2: I probably couldn't have afforded to even if I could have got tickets !
seems rock is a popular choice....part of me wonders what the sex pistols would have been like live...
Probably 'sounded' **^*%* awful...!
yeah thats what i am not sure about....would they have been 100% professional when it came to the music or just a disjointed/crazy as their public face?
Loud, raucous and totally aggressive. Add in a sweaty basement - the 100 Club - and staggering out afterwards into a slightly chilly Oxford Street and you had the totally chaotic full experience.

I turned down tickets to see Nirvana when I was younger...it would have been the last opportunity to see them live in the UK.
