i went round a friends house to see what the ps3 was like on hd [as i havent got hd] he claimed that the picture on pirates of the carribean [bluray] jumped out of the screen at you. when i watched some of it the picture was dire, looked at the cables hanging from his tv and realised why, he was using the free composite lead. he then admitted that he was still waiting for the hdmi lead from blockbuster were he bought the console. has anyone else ever heard or maybe themselves told any similar bloopers???????

Just walk into a Currys Digital store...

That's a little unfair, but the number of times I've walked out of there as the sales assistant is clearly completely clueless on a fairly basic question. I try not to shop there but there's one right below where I work and sometimes it's easier just to pop in (as long as I know exactly what I want!)

Why would he want to buy another cable if he already has a free one?

Here we go with the Dixon's bashing...I once heard a very good friend of mine tell me about how he went into Dixon's a few years ago, and was looking at the boom-boxes. he asked what 'RMS' meant and was told...Real Music Sound Smile Nice.
