Died of a heart attack, aged 51.

A great actor, and star of my favourite TV show of all time. Shall be sadly missed.

RE: James Gandolfini R.I.P

Should have seen me a year ago.

In San Juan, Peurto Rico, working on a project for a very famous latin American pop star.  Me and two co-workers met him, his professional team and his minders in his penthouse suite at the hotel (which I think he owns) for a meeting, then we were all whisked through the lobby with his minders talking into their shirt cuffs whilst little latino gurlies fawned at the site of this guy (all five foot five of him) to waiting blacked out Lincoln SUVs with police cars and motorbikes ready to escort us all to meet the govenor of the Island.

Now that was like something out of the Sopranos....

RIP James G.  Great show.  You will be missed.  I just wonder how they'll write him out of the show.

Sorry to see him go. Great actor.

I thought he looked late 50's, shocked to hear he was so relatively young.

Let's not be "prostate with grief" what with the passing of James Gandolfini "and all that entrails".

Some might say he's now "at a precipice of an enormous crossroads".

I'd prefer to think he's having a good time at "Captain Teeb's".

Was really suprised to hear this on the news earlier on, especially being a massive Sopranos fan (best tv series ever as far as I am concerned). He was a top class actor as well and it always amazed me that he wasn't in more tv/films. I was still hoping for a series 7 of  The Sopranos after the open ending left us fans wanting more.  Think I will have to start on the boxset again at the weekend, RIP
