It's a funny old game, City are champions
" />
I watched the game and I couldn't see City scoring, then 2 goals in injury time to bring joy to the people of Manchester, and break the hearts of the people of Surrey.
Liverpool lost again!
True, but the desolation of the Utd fans makes it a joyous day none the less
True enough.
I have to say at 89 minutes when I saw the anxious and hopeful looks on City fans faces at 1-2 down I did say to myself I don't know why you're still so hopeful, you've got no chance now! How wrong.
High drama.
I have to say in all honesty, City have been the best side this year, but, I really thought they would blow it today, and they very nearly did.
Most amazing finish to a season since, and probably including the Liverpool/Arsenal decider, though I don't like to think about that one too often.

Why should City winning the title break the hearts of us Surrey people? I was under no illusions about Chelsea's chances. At least we're in the CL final. Do you remember?
Hope it isn't sour grapes because Liverpool has had their worst season in gawd knows when.
But Liverpool have a trophy in the cabinet PP, and fingers crossed, Chelsea will only have the drawn final to celebrate.
2 - 2 wasn't it?
It will be difficult for Chelsea to win the final in Germany, especially when you're still stuck in your own half in Barcelona. ![]()
Pass the prawns...damn hot down here in the south

You missed: Norwich comfortably safe in 12th \o/
Yes, a good first season for Norwich, and with a few good additions, hopefully a good 2nd season too.
I think over the course of the season, the best team wins the title, and most people will agree, City have been the best team overall. And also, the worst 3 teams go down, and I think this is true this season too, though Villa and QPR were very close to being as bad.
I'm glad it's nearly over, just need to get the sauerkraut, lederhosen, and Beck's in for the Champions league final, then it's a bit of a break, apart from the Euros and Olympic football of course.
Does the season never end?

Yeah, in 2005. What have they won since? At least Chelsea have the FA cup in the bag this season.
Will Chelsea win the CL this season? Unlikely. But I gave them no chance against Barca, so who knows.
BBB, start worrying about Liverpool. They are in limbo freefall. Obviously Kenny isn't the real deal. Hogson out, Kenny in was cry, and look where they are now. The PL table doesn't lie! Liverpool, at the mo, are at best average.
You can hark on about Liverpool's history, but they have done nothing on any significance over the last few years. Chelsea on the other hand...

Erm, Carling Cup this season?

Delighted with Norwich this season, beyond what I'd hoped. One of Lambert's greatest achievements was rotating so successfully and getting quality performances from players I'd doubted at this level, such as Drury, Lappin and Jackson. The performances against Spurs and Arsenal give cause for quiet optimism, and we've already made (and begun to integrate) two of our signings for next year, Howson and Ryan Bennett. If we can keep Lambert, fingers crossed we don't suffer 'second season' syndrome.
I agree the worst teams have gone down and the best won: both Manchester teams were very inconsistent, reflected in the close finish, but just about the right result, and amazing ending for the (fairly) neutral like myself.
You're right, the football's barely gonna stop this summer.....
Yes PP, as I said, and Ben Law also said, we won the Carling Cup this season, and yes, you did get the FA Cup trophy, but you didn't win the game. 2 goals each.
Yes we finished 8th, poor considering the investment, but compared to the stupid money Chelsea have paid out on players, and finished only 6th, reasonable. Of course, if Chelsea do win the Champions league final, it will have been a good season for them, but also a travesty for football. It's strange, when Rafa Benitez was linked with the Chelsea job, Chelsea supporters voiced their opposition to such a negative manager, but even Benitez allowed his teams out of their own half occasionally.
Not on freefall, it's just the beginning of a new chapter in Liverpool's history. It's extremely unlikely we will challenge for the title for a good few seasons, but I can't see Chelsea doing that either with such an ageing, classless team.
A gangster owner, and a captain from a family of drug dealers, thieves, and adulterers. Classy

aaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbsssssssoooooolllllllllluuuuuutttttttttteeeeeeeellllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy unbelievable.
