Is the 3 week suspension on political subjects now lifted?
Especially as the election is now over and the 3 weeks expired.
It already has. Is quite exciting...
Daveee:I hope not. The election may be over but the squabbling is just about to begin!
I was actually thinking more about the thread regarding the situation in Greece that appeared this morning.
The three weeks was up yesterday at 1:50 PM and the result of the general election is known (all but a few seats that are not going to make any difference to what follows.)
'Squabbling' can also be called debate, argument, democracy and an exercise of bits of the constitution that have not been aired since 1974. (And possibly a springboard for a national debate and referendum on electoral reform.)
6 months from now alot of people will be regretting how they voted.
I'm OK in theory re political discussions recommencing. However, House Rules will need to be adhered to...
... and anyway, wouldn't you rather talk about hi-fi/music/movies? (Please!)

Oh ok...
I wonder what kind of TV David Cameron's got?

Definitely. But I must congratulate my fellow voters in Brighton Pavilion, who have once again demonstrated the sort of robust independent thinking that's the mark of an electorate that couldn't give two hoots.

I won't.
the_lhc:I wonder what kind of TV David Cameron's got?
A really posh one.
i wonder if he,s listening to "ill get by with a little help from my friends" on his hifi??
is there any truth to the rumours that david dimbleby is to be the new face of red bull ??
the_lhc:I wonder what kind of TV David Cameron's got?
Ah yes, I was interviewed by Radio 4 about that story. They initially phoned me up to double-check what the average price was for a 40in TV. Even before they'd done the research re brands, I knew it had to be a B&O TV for that money/screen size!
Am i right in thinking Cameron is going to be the new prime minister with his new best mate the liberal guy as the deputy?
PS i have not been watching so don't know.
