Correct me if i'm wrong but have you posted some of your works before? Hardscaping?

How about running some adds in local papers, cards in windows etc.

Build your own website with Office Live? Run a gallery on their with your work etc, etc.

Surely thats better than getting some harebrained idea and trying to work with that, unless your fed up with the outside world?

My apologies if i recall wrongly.

i have a friend who's a keen angler, he uses a certain type of lure, they cost e5 each, he emailed a chinese company, asking them how much they would charge to make him some exact copies..

they replied asking him to email a pic of one, which he did, a few days later they said they could make a minimum of 1000 of them for $380 plus shipping, which is about e180..

so for around e450 my mate can get 1000 of these lures delivered, they sell for around e4 each on ebaySurprise, food for thought?

Fine plan - they can join all the other copy goods and cheap knock-offs people think they can pass off on E-bay...

Start by taking up Shooter's advice by building a website advertising your alternative to other interweb based auction websites with cheaper transaction fees..start as a local site advertising at car boot sales all the while getting a feel for your marketplace and current prices and proceedures that work well and then off you go to the Dragon's den....

Or of course you could always share your endeavour and enthusiasm by doing voluntary work and build up our CV at the same time to get a proper job like the rest of us...

See you ,off to work...

Max, if you own your house then take some equity out of that, buy another property or properties and let them out, then when you have equity in them do the same thing, 10 years down the line you might have 40 or so properties that generate a largish income. You get nothing in this day unless you take a chance, an old saying here in Glasgow,  "those that say it and those that day it".

How about administering Botox. A quick course in London and your away. Women have Botox parties ya know.

Women also spend huge amounts on handbags and shoes.

The moral of the story is you just need to find something pointless to sell and hey presto, one in red, one in blue, one in teal, one in mauve, one in faux croc zzzz.

im in need of a new way of generating cash, so im seeking advice from any learned forumites that have experience of making money, it doesnt matter what ideas are suggested, once they are within the law and are morally kosher ill give them due consideration..

im particularly keen to hear about any inventions that any of you have thought up? or any successful business ventures that you have launched since the recession kicked in?

You could sell your body.

Depending on how you look you may be able to serve a niche market ...
