When Tescos introduced their hot cabinets recently they started off by selling steak and gravy pies for 69p which were amazing, but they stopped doing them for some reason and I was bereft. I may have to have a trip down to mother mash again soon; five different kinds of pie, four kinds of mash, four different gravies, AND beer. Mama...

But to the OP - perhaps you could, well, buy some?
Actually I tell a lie, it was 2 bits of chicken and a chicken leg.
You could try cooking yourself, perhaps?
I would need to be marinated for ages then put in a slow cooker for a week, else meat would be very chewy, haha!!
I can cook - I just make too much mess and take ages, much easier to let the wife do it!!

2 breasts and 1 leg (and no I haven't got a clue what you are on about).

I'm going to have to arrange a visit here though. #Ontopicforonce

I do like a pie, prefer M&S and Tesco finest, although I don't have them that often any more. I can get Pukka Pies in my local Asda and Tesco in E.Northants, I didn't realise it was a regional thing.
He's not a diamond geezer, or called Joe!
I miss pukka pies,'cos i'm on a diet

Maybe it's a regional thing. I am a northerner and I like Hollands Pies, but only proper ones from a chippy, I don't like the frozen ones. I did try Pukka Pies once and decided that just like Scotch pies I'd rather sit down to a plate of my own vomit.
