HELP! I'm having computer problems

Please help. For the past few weeks, everytime I log on to the forum, my PC won't separate the paragraphs. When I click onto preview it is fine. Click on post and it just won't separate. Any ideas on how to rectify it will be appreciated.

I thought it was something major like a broken heasink or a mild burning smell coming from the PC chassis....
