Octopussy`s my favourite! Yes, really. Met Roger Moore (what a massive piece of name dropping!) for about one minute some years ago and I told him so! Admittedly he did raise an eyebrow when I told him this.
It`s got great stunts, gorgeous girls, great theme song.....hang on. Think I might be describing them all!
Yeah Tim. Know what you mean. They were great family occasions though as JD pointed out the televisions were`nt all that back then.
A Bond film wasn`t the only thing the whole family got excited about. How about -
It`s A Knockout, Eurovision Song Contest, the FA Cup final, Miss World, Top Of The Pops (well maybe not Mum and Dad). Thing is, nowadays we have DVD`s but back then even before video recorders, when I watched a favourite video on Top Of The Pops I used to try to take in every detail because I thought it might be the last time I ever saw it. With Dr Who it was a long old seven days waiting for the next 15-20 minute episode. Today you get the best part of an hour each week and if you really can`t wait for another fix there are previous series of the show available on DVD to watch when ever you feel like it.
The Radio Times at Christmas is still good though!

Damn, that explains why he's changed appearance so many times over the years. Up till now I thought it all was part of the secret service cover up.
