I thought the site seemed a bit quiet. Just noticed that I'm the top poster....this has never happened before and I haven't posted that much! Everyone on holiday or just dealing with the in-laws over for the bank holiday?

It's always like this on bank holidays!

Everywhere seems really quiet, actually - the lack of kids (obviously flown off somewhere warmer for half-term) has made our local coffee shop blissful this weekend....

Quite a few kids along with their grannies at the local shopping centre this morning. Highlight of my weekend? Seeing my dad purchase a yellow shirt from M & S.

Makes him look like a canary.

Not now it isn't. 488 people online when I looked a few minutes ago (just before 4pm). Must be all that rain keeping everyone indoors.

Nice one dad Smile

Even better if it's a yellow and green shirt from Canary shop. I have been working flat out (14 hours on Sunday!) but if I have a spare moment I always make some effort to post.....count down to the update forum, a week to go Smile

I actually was just sad enough to check the site's traffic figures for yesterday, and it was a slightly above-average Sunday, with 13,221 individual visitors. That's way down on weekdays, but not bad at all for the weekend.

Seems people are in a reading rather than writing mood!

I was away from the forum for about a week as the g/f was over, and ever since have found it really hard to get back into the flow of the forum. Doesn't help that the new job is more strict on internet access too!

and its been really sunny and warm all weekend here in glasgow too Smile

We're envious, fast eddie. Down in the deep south the sales of wellies have gone through the ceiling.

Once an hour means you have :

a) More than enough time to keep the GF happy, and

b) Far more stamina than me Hmm
