Going off raikkonens comment "people won't understand, it's not about the money", I'd say he's shut the door on Red bull. Also the fact that the team has made some slightly dodgy strategic decisions recently, he could've been closer to Vettel.
Alonso has the same manager as Sainz jnr (who was impressive, think Ferrari should snap him up over Massa), the press will jump all over that. Like you say, there's probably an element of foot stamping, but I would like to see the in team rivalry between Alonso and Vettel.
Time will tell.

Get in there Lewis :clap: I just hope this is the turning point for Merc and their tyre woes, would be good to see Lewis on a charge for the championship.Felt sorry for Romain as well as apart from one dodgy move with JB he had a stonking race with some awesome overtakes, if you exclude the few cm's when he left the track to avoid a collision.
I don't know if I am reading to much into this but did anyone notice the body language/ blank expression when Lauder hugged Brawn after the race? I noticed he was smilling and giving big man hugs to the rest of the guys but not Niki. Also when they were all sat down waiting for Lewis to show up for the team photo Ross looked to be really quiet, especially with Toto with only a few brief words exchanged. When Paddy turned up Toto seemed to be very chatty with him. I still get the feeling that Brawn is on his way out sooner rather than later although I hope he stays. There was some rumours on the F1 live show the other week that he is off to McLaren.
This is quite good as well, just a shame it isn't longer.
Ooo, that's a rumour I managed to miss, interesting
I saw that a few days ago, just amazing, some people have incredible imaginations.
He's not a diamond geezer, or called Joe!
Alonso -> Red Bull?
Button -> Ferrari?
Hülkenberg or Räikkönen -> McLaren?
I'd buy into that rumour more if it weren't for the fact that Ross himself went up on the podium to get the constructor's trophy on Sunday.

Or perhaps he thought "blimey, if I'm off to McLaren I won't get chance to go up on the podium for a while" and decided to make hay etc etc.....
Hmm, seems the rot has set in; pretty sure Alonso won't take kindly to Ferrari's announcement that Luca di Montezemolo "tweaked his ear" for his "latest comments" ?
Great race by Hamilton and Kimi did well once again. Shame Grosjean's efforts didn't produce a better result.
The title race is still open it seems, I'm hoping it goes down to the wire as last year was a bit dull toward the end.
A bit like the EPL!
Seems Ross Brawn is quite bullish re Lewis and the M-B F1 W04: "It has taken a little while but I see great signs..."
Been wondering about what's what re next year's V6 turbos? Clickings
Any shred of optimism I had before todays race has now completely gone
Yep, you wait a month and half expect the other teams to have something up their sleeves, then you end up willing Vettel to a dnf or for a bit of rain to spice it up.
Pretty uneventful in the end
Can't believe Coulthard has to rent his jacket though
I actually sprayed tea on my monitor when I saw that! (Involuntarily, I might add...)
One of the most entertaning bits what Vettel's slight unease at the crowd and their boos. Apparantly down to some Greenpeace protestors.
