RE: Formula 1 - 2012 season

Excellent.

What's not so excellent (unless you're a Vettel fan) is the sign from first practice - just finished - at the US GP that Seb is a lot faster than Alonso and others. Even Hamilton was more than a second behind him.

OK, it's first practice - a lot can happen before Quali/the race, but...

Oh, and there's a REALLY annoying klaxon going off in the pitlane to signal cars coming/in out. Angry

It's a new track that none of them know - some will learn it quicker than others. Hamilton will be fine for qualifying... Smile

Booo, hisss...

Next year I'll mostly be watching Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Rossi, I've had enough of F1 for now

Brilliant race! Nice touch with the Stetsons on the podium, too Smile

Indeed, but the vision-mixing/directing was a tad scrappy.

Brazil should be fun - 'time' for a wet race, and a Fezza one-two..?  pray

i doubt it. Massa is generally not that great at Brazil, and after seeing how happy Hamilton was after winning today, you can guarantee he'll be on the podium as long as there's no car issues. And in the wet, you can't count Button out, despite recent race results. Add in Vettel, I make that about four who want a podium finish. Once again, Brazil is going to serve up a cracker of a race, and lets hope its as good as 2008...

Umm, who won the Brazilian GP in 2006 and 2008?

Next year Pirelli will take the correct tyres and it will be a procession.

Drop of rain in Brazil would go down nice, but if they are anything like our mob a week in advance it will probably be as dry as dust or that wet we won't race. Hope I'm wrong.
