Formula 1 - 2012 season
I'm feeling very gloomy after the Japanese GP
...going off to buy a model Red Bull to stick pins in!!

Of course I'd have been even happier if it had been Massa, Kobayashi, Button instead!
Interesting race. Fine drive by Vettel.
+1 re Massa and Kob'.
Alonso's luck must change/return soon, should be an exciting duel. Hopefully.

looks like my attempt at voodoo hasn't worked!!
Vettel sure is impressive.
If he wins this year's title, he'll be up there with Fangio and Schumacher as a back-to-back three-time winner.
And unlike his compatriot, Vettel has achieved his wins against a temmate who's, a) quick and b) a joint number-one
Prince of darkness off to Ferrari for 2014 eh, could be interesting, Hamilton should have stayed at Maclaren and then gone to Red Bull perhaps.
The German dark lord has driven well this season, even when he has not been at the front and he seems to excel when out there. Looks like my Alonso prediction has give him the kiss of death, which is a shame, he deserves the title as the Prancing horse has been more like an old nag at times although he has driven the wheels off it. If he had picked up 30 points from the 2 wipe out races he had then it would sure be a more interesting finale. If Vettel wins the title I shall drink a bottle of Krug Scher Hof Pinot Noir in his honour. I'm spoilt for choice on Rioja if Alonso wins,
I don't think you'll be needing that Rioja Lost Angeles.

I agree but I've only got one bottle of German red.
Montezuma's revenge could make this an interesting weekend. Can I avoid the result for a week whilst on holiday and watch the race (live) a week on Friday. It's an early morning race so may be feasible.
I'm starting to get a horrible feeling that Vettel is not only going to win the championship, I think that's a foregone conclusion now, but all the remaining races as well.
For a season that promised so much the finale is really turning into a damp squib, not sure how much of the remaining action I'm going to bother watching, it's turning into 2002 for me again.
Come on Fernando, prove me wrong.
Anyone know what the BBC coverage is going to be next year??
Boring, boring, boring.
F1 is going to start shedding viewers in droves if this carries on.
Come on MacLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari (anyone!) pull your collective finger out and get things back to how they were back in the first third of the season.
I want to be on the edge my seat and shouting at the telly for two and a half hours.
Some early season races were so good i'd watch them again. Now I can barely bother to watch it at all after lap 2.

Hmm, could be a very canny move:
Lewis + Ross + Merc's war chest + the support of long-term ally 'Uncle' Norbert = many titles for Lewis?
And, FWIW, I agree with LdM re Perez - he's not exactly consistent, is he?
