So how are they going to replace him with. Perez maybe. De Resta?
Apparently, Mercedes has first dibs on Di Resta?
Guess it'll be Perez, who's already on Ferrari's books as part of its Driver Academy.
Actually feel sorry for Massa, he's never been the same since the Hungary '09 accident. IIRC, cricket commentator Henry Blofeld's pro cricket career was kiboshed by a head injury (road accident), something to do with diminished hand-eye co-ordination; suspect Massa's suffered something similar?
Perhaps he's just missing Michael.
You can't exchange a six inch band for all the poisoned streams in Cumberland.
After finishing off the last piece of (a very large) humble pie following Pastor Maldonado's victory in Spain, I've just discovered we share a birthday, how cool is that? I'll be watching young Pastor very closely from now on.
I feel sorry for Felipe Massa, he's clearly not the driver he was before Hungary '09, but I think it would be unfair of Ferrari to show him the door before the end of the year, although I wouldn't put it past them.
He's not a diamond geezer, or called Joe!
Looks like Petrov's spreading rumours that Massa will be out after the August break, guess he fancies his chances of replacing him, don't like the sound of that
Then Petrov must be seriously deluded
Although this year's Fezza is carrying sponsorship from Kaspersky...
So the side pod issue was just a coincidence as if my work PC is anything to go by Kaspersky will slow anything down.
I suppose they should be thankful it wasn't Symantec
Really looking forward to this weekend, Monaco is my favourite. Cannot really say why, perhaps it is because it epitomises F1 as a whole
I've just checked through the F1 records, and as far as I could see we've never had 6 different winners in the first 6 races. "Lotus" are looking good, Hamilton goes quite well in Monaco (except when he's running into other cars!), so fingers crossed we'll see a new record this weekend.
I prefer this one 6th:
Also like this one:
why does he wear them??
Congrats to Schumi for being on pole  although he will start 6th. It's a weird season so far.
The coverage does not get any better, not Sky or the Beebs fault but it would be nice to see a few drivers do a full lap, and why do they follow them when they're on an in lap, even I can see that and I've only got one screen to look at.For a mlti-million pound sport the coverage at times is attrocious.
Six non-winners (2012) in the top 8, it's looking good for a new record. Webbo for the win? (even though it galls me to back Red Bull )
Honourable mention for SchuMichael, superb lap from the old man, but of all the races this is the one I absolutely don't want him to win again, so I'm quietly relieved he's got a penalty. That said, he still might win it, you never know!
Maldonado's an odd 'un!
Suspect the Mercs' tyres (rears) wil suffer; then again, who the hell knows who'll finish where?!?!
Should be exciting, can't wait
