Sebastian Bergman - new Swedish crime series.
Pace is slow, but it's well worth giving it a chance to breathe.
Titular anti-hero is a dissolute, witty old git who's a criminal profiler.
A murder case in episode one, a serial killer in the second, a lead character with 'issues', interesting sub-plot[s], great photography and a fine John Surman-esque OST - what's not to like.
Another coup for BBC4, iPlayer catch-up here
I've just ordered Black Cat, White Cat http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118843/reviews and Underground http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114787/ after reading an old Foreign language film thread from 2009 on here and checking the reviews. They both look absolutely fantastic, so I can't wait to see them, especially Black Cat, White Cat.
Thank you Slack Elvis where ever you are, I hope it's as good as everyone says it is.
