Fabio Capello Resigns
Only thing I will say is, the FA are clueless.
He is the best manager we have had for some considerable time, a proven, quality international manager, and to force him into a resignation by undermining him in such way, proves their own incompetence.
Idiots, the lot of them.

I agree some dreadful decisions have been made (not least Judicial system's decision to delay Terry's trial until July), but once Capello spoke out he had to go; in many other businesses he'd most likely be fired for such comments. The FA didn't force him to speak to Italian press.
But hey, Harry's innocent
He's a proven, high quality manager. It's not his fault the players were useless is it?
Who are we gonna get? Either someone will be appointed just before Euro 2012, or we'll get a temporary idiot like Stuart Pearce, a failure of a manager.
It's madness. The 2 chartered accountants at the top of the FA are the ones who should be resigning, not Capello.
Dare you to tell Stuart Pearce that to his face

It's the idiots who make these decisions that annoy me the most. They're just a couple of chartered accountants; I'd prefer decisions about football, being made by people who know about football, not buisnessmen.

Probably not, no
FWIW, O'Neill and Pearce would be the ideal management. Came up thru the Clough academy (greatest manger England never had). They'll have the discipline and can deal with premadonnas.

2 failed managers IMO
But hey, Harry's innocent
Nice to know the CPS have made another fortune out of bringing a case to court they couldn't win.
We ought to have a rule if they lose the lawyers don't get paid.
The taxpayer (including Harry) loses again. Oh to be a lawyer or barrister, easy money ain't it.

Another case of arrogant footballers/managers thinking they own their future based on who they think they are, not what they actually represent .
At least we have a chance at the next tournament with potentially less team discord than the last two Capello efforts.
Oh and BBB- you also need business people in a football business, not just ex-footballers.I think Harry's testimony has proved that.
So John Terry is not to wear an armband but he's okay to play for England's national side ? ... makes sense
Harry (and I like him plenty, a great manager) is innocent ... which is why he opened an account in Monaco under one of his dogs' names
I guess he may be though
So who now for the England Football manager's position then mmm... what about Roy ? ... Bernie

(just kidding mate)

Strange cat. You've been too close to Sid...
O'Neill a loser? Every team, all of them losers, he's made successful - talking of managerial losers, Dalglish?

Dalglish has won titles and other trophies with 2 different clubs; not really a loser PP.
O'Neill, won a few things in Scotland where only 2 clubs ever win anything usually. So not a world beater.
And Pearce, well, enough said.

He certainly did a great job in South Africa !!
