Dreams
i once dreamed i was laying a new brick paved patio at one of simon cowells mansions , when i was finished i asked him if he was pleased with it , he said it was great , but i would only get paid if i was "still there next week" .... then i woke up , typical , even in dreams cowell wins ![]()
On the scary dreams subject- I don't seem to get them nowadays but as a kid I had falling or getting chased by a monster to enliven my sleep.
As for wierd dreams my best has to be when Dave Mustaine invited me to join Megadeth, I had nice new axes and all the gear but then I woke up. You know what? I'm still gutted now, twenty years later!
As an ex smoker, I still dream that I've started smoking again, and wake up feeling really disappointed in myself, then the realisation dawns on me that it's just a dream. Quite a feeling of relief!!

margetti:I'm pretty sure I read that Paul McCartney (or was it Lennon) penned some of their songs after waking from dreams on whatever it was they then wrote about...
McCartney allegedly dreamed the entire melody of Yesterday - wrote it down when he woke up, using working title/lyric of 'scrambled eggs'.
Not a bad dream to have, considering the song is now one of the most recorded ever....
I had a dream that I was sitting on a lily in a pond with a load of frogs...
Well, the lingering fragments of last nights dream include me replacing Johnny Weismuller as Tarzan and Maureen O'Sullivan as Jane drowning in the swimming scene whilst I was busy wrestling alligators. Luckily, Lorraine Kelly was around and was able to quickly slip into Maureen's costume so that filming could continue. She giggled quite a lot so we had to do some re-takes. There was also a castle with lots and lots of rooms.
I'm reading a book about Maureen O'Sullivan at the moment so I know why she was in the dream, but I haven't seen Lorraine Kelly on tv for years and have no idea where she came from and what on earth a castle was doing in the jungle (dreams can be so unrealistic at times!
).
If you dream that you were in a plane crash what does that mean?
Thanks

Found the answer - it is worrying with an over active mind, and the feeling of not being in control. Didn't find out if I got off safely or not. I was just the passenger.

Is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse?
Something strange has happened to me, last night i dream't of this beautiful blond & today my freind wanted to buy a discontnued sat nav, discounted from curry's, so we drove into manchester & enquired about this satnav which they didn't have but told us the store down the road had three in stock, so we went down their & they had none in stock but sent us to curry's in white city retail park, so we went down their & asked at customer services where we served by & dealt with, this beautiful blond, we were in their ten or fifteen minutes whilest she dismanteld the display model & sorted out the paperwork.
I'd never met or seen her before, but i wonder if she had dreamt of me last night.
Believe me, those dreams sound quite normal to me. I recently watched through seasons 1-5 of Lost and I think it affected me. I recently had a dream I went into a grocers shop with Sayid (character from Lost). I needed to get some tuna for my friend so I placed the entire tuna steak in my mouth (it was pretty big) and chomped on it a while before deciding it wasn't good enough and spat it back into the packaging. When I rounded the corner, the shop keeper was forcing Sayid to inhale carrots.
And that's not particularly unusual for me...
Just read this and it made me laugh.
Thanks for sharing,

No chance, blonde's can't dream.
Hope I don't get banned.
Here's an interesting quote about dreams that I like. It's by the fashion model Lily Cole who got a double first at Cambridge.
''I listen to my dreams quite closely. Dreams are often you talking to yourself. It is listening to the deeper voices of yourself and the noises of your mind you don't hear clearly.
I feel like everyone knows a lot more in their heart of hearts on a deep level, but sometimes I think there is so much noise in society and in your head that you don't always hear through it.
If I have a strong dream about something it doesn't mean I commit to it 100 per cent, but if it feels right to me, I'll often end up committing to it later. I'll let it sit in my consciousness for a while, some of them are silly dreams and some say quite a lot.''
