As for animation Disney could make a bucket load out of this but Disney haven't been very good at making propper films,

The idea that any of the Star Wars films are "proper films" and that Toy Story 1,2,3 or Up (for example) are not is bizarre to me.

I see what you're saying but Empire Strikes Back is a decent enough film by any measure, imo.

I actually enjoy all of them   - more complaining about the idea that animations are not proper films.

No arguments there...

The the original 10 pixar films have never been matched and i would class them a propper films, i know Tangled was pretty good and i haven't seen the new ones yet like Brave and frankweenie i'm talking about films like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Disney_theatrical_feature_films

I know they did a good job of Tron, Chronicals of Narnia and Avengers but there is alot of hit and miss films, most of them are fun films

Maybe its me thinking how episodes 4,5 & 6 were like, i was hoping 1 , 2 & 3 would be as good, and i would hope 7, 8 & 9 would be just as good but i can see the new films being more like 1, 2 & 3 which would be a shame

Speaking of Lucas personal projects, is Redtails any good?  I do like a good dogfight, but don't trust Lucas enough to buy blind.  £10 bluray in sainsburys though.

It's an alright movie...... but nothing more tbh.

Some real good fight sequences but not a strong film, not sure it's worth £10 but hey... you may think more of it than I did ?

A good one watch I'd say. Having said that though, it's not far off a tenner to get into the movies these days so you may as well buy it.

Fair enough, shall wait for it to hit £6 Smile

Doh, your list just reminded me next year is a Pixar sequal year.  All the odd years I believe.  Brave was excelent though, I especialy liked it as my Wife grew up in the outer hebrides,  so I have visited a lot of places the film is based on Smile

Wow, they have succeeded in building a completely unsellable home Smile  The island is a lovely place to visit, but completely impractical to live on.  There is so much land you cannot sell homes, people just build new build kit homes behind their old homes.

Just waiting for them to start mixing Disney and Star Wars together to make films like Princess Cinderleia and Snow White and the 7 Ewoks.
