It has to be a DTS title, for sound quality. THX certified can help. Erm... The new 'war of the worlds' in DTS, or Monsters INC. also DTS and THX cert.

Yep, great suggestions. King Kong was pretty mindblowing too.

Hard to narrow it down to one, so i'll nominate a few...

 - House of Flying Daggers:  The echo game and the part in the grenn forest before 'the house' comes to rescue them....  both scene's also look out of this world.

- Fight Club: Sittong on the plane imigines it banking to the left and colliding with an other, love watching others in the room nearly EDITED themselves when it feels like the room is being ripped apart by the colision.  awesome.

 - Revolver: The lift scene, when jake is talking to himself.  it also helps that this is one of my favourite all time scenes in a movie, although it wasn't until my second watch that i understood it.  fear me....

aslo as mentioned previously the LOTR movies sound awsome in DTS, i particularly like it when the ring is dropped in Bilbo's house - the sound when it hits the floor: subtastic!

someone alsoo mentione the Matrix, i'll have hoke that out again, it's been too long since i last watched that movie turned up to 11....  i'll get the dips in.

its far from perfect but those opening scenes from Top Gun on the aircraft carrier......hairs on the back of my neck

LOTR in DTS...absolutley + matrix + gladiator

Start of Blade at the Vampire Nightclub....nice bit of Prodigy I think

Saving Private Ryan in DTS. again first bit

If you want to show off your system get the John Michel Jarre concerts in china DVD

Enjoy!

Ive got the need to watch the Matrix again thanks to you lot but I cant find it !! I think I lent it to someone and I cant remember who!!!

boo hoo!

war of the worlds isnt at all bad. had a play with that yesterday and when the aliens start beeping their horns "beep beep" my PV1 sings and sings. its a good transfer too ? filmed in digital ? and the effects are mostly solid. shame about tom cruise and all the rubbish about families getting in the way of a good action film.

prob why my fav film is Starship Troopers. proper men vs aliens and no sentimental stuff and a tongue fimly placed in the cheek. Watching it was like playing DOOM for the first time.

I use DVD profiler for that, you can get it as a free download - just google it.  I started using it after I discovered I was about 20 disks down due to lending...
