Buddy Rich is so far out in front it's unbelievable.
After that there is so much talent to choose from.
Personal favs include Neil Peart, Gene Krupa, Terry Bozzio (Zappa) & Clyde Stubblefield (The JBs)

Tricky one, but the ones which come to my mind are Jaki Liebezeit and Billy Cobham (already mentioned), also Elvin Jones, Jeffrey Wegener and Tony Buck of The Necks.
