Astra J rear door card removal - Help PLEASE ??
Forgive this "inconsequential twaddle" (Description of forum) but since my new Astra J was 'dented' (supermarket carpark) I am anxious to remove the rear door card and hopefully push out the dent. If anyone can help I would be really grateful.
Cheers

Thanks PP but I dont think Haynes do a manual for the J yet. (Not a J reg but a series J ie brand new) Thanks anyway.

Ah, right. Sorry. No idea, to be frank. But you'll probably need a new outer skin. Can you not take it back to the dealer?
Could you get one of those suction pullers to pull the dent from the outside?
Think I've seen them in Halfords.
Might be better than risking damage to the interior trim
Get one of those dentmaster types to come and have a shufty at it. They did one for me a while back. Cost about 80 quid I think and couldn't even see a mark when they'd finished.
It is a bit more difficult if the metal is actually creased but so long as the paint isn't split/cracked they can remove almost any dents without a trace
Thanks all. The dent is about the size of a 1p coin and the paint is scratched. I can probably touch up but i recon the dent might be pushed out from inside. My first scratch on my new car makes me very cross but I guess it may need a professional if I cant get the door panel out. My dealer may help too I guess.
Cheers all
Trying to repair that yourself will probably make matters worse, best to get a professional on the job.

Couldn't tell you. Maybe worth investing in a manual
