I'm 6'1", but have a short torso and much longer legs than someone of my hight should have. Great for cycling as it means I can happily spin a longer crank and get more torque, but rubbish for any form of public transport. I am also half an inch taller on my right leg than I am on my left.

One of the reasons I don't like to fly is due to my height and overall size. Can't remember the last time I sat in the back of a car, nobody even bothers saying Shotgun when I'm around. Of course, buying cars is another matter....
Clothes can be a headache..... My Jacamo account is my new best friend.
Great for going to gigs too, unless you're seated. I try to get an aisle seat at the cinema so I can at least stretch one leg out.
Never tend to have any bother when I'm out, you do get the occasional mouthy drunk who tries to look big in front of his mates by mouthing off to the biggest bloke in the room, which is usually me, but his mates tend to be very quick to appologise before I even say anything..... Not that it'd be a problem as I'm very slow to anger, and usually find it amusing. I don't even notice everyone turning and staring when I walk into a pub any more, people I'm with tend to tell me about it afterwards, but I guess it's not just the height, but the build, the long hair, the tattoos, etc, etc.
On the whole, the times I wish I were a bit smaller are drastically outnumbered by the times I'm happy the way I am..... which for the record is 6' 6", although if I were a bit taller I could stretch out this spare tyre a bit.
And if I had a pound for every time a stranger asks if I play rugby, I could have paid for that nice big car by now.

5'2" here and I HATE IT.
Absolute nightmare buying clothes as every pair of trousers/jeans I buy is too long.
Just about every concert I go to I can't see much cos of all the giants standing in front of me.
My Wife's 5' 2".....
Here's me and the guitarist from my band, as Snape & Hagrid at his daughter's Harry Potter themed party. No trickery involved, just two blokes standing next to each other.
5' 11". My brother was 6' 5" (shrinking due to old age) and had an awful time on planes, banging his head on doors, finding clothes to fit ( he is over 70, so very tall for his generation), so have never envyed him. My wife is a few inches shorter than me and we both prefer it that way (odd but true), so I guess I am happy with my height, although how I will feel with my son is taller than me (which will be when he is 15 I think) I am not sure.
My wife and I live in a very old house. She is 5' 1" in height and her hair brushes the top of the door into the kitchen. However, when we go out and she has high heels and forgets to duck as she goes into the kitchen then (deleted)
I'm 5' 9" and I need to duck my head under the main room beams and three doors.
Was OK with height, wife is 6ft 2, until my 11 year old son reached the same height as me 5ft 8 and is also the same shoe size 8 !
